Educational Background |
I attended Jacksonville University for my undergraduate degrees, and graduated in 2010 with Bachelors of Arts degrees in Political Science and English. I loved the small school feel of JU, having only 3,000 students. I was a tour guide, President of the Honors Student Association, as well as a sister of Alpha Epsilon Phi. I loved my time at JU, and will always be a proud Dolphin! I began my graduate degree, seeking a Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration, in the Summer of 2014 and will be graduating this December. I am have enjoyed working with the Senior Seminar students as my practicum, and using the knowledge and skills I have gained through this program.

Work Experience |
Many say that admissions is the "accidental profession," as very few young people have the goal of becoming an admissions counselor. I was no exception, having never considered the career until I became a tour guide at Jacksonville University. I began my professional career at Western Carolina University as a freshman admissions counselor. From there, I moved to Miami, transitioning to a freshman and transfer admissions counselor. I was also responsible for the admission of all Honors applicants. I again transitioned into Graduate Admissions here at KSU, and have remained here for the past two years.
